We are looking for an experienced Branch Manager to lead our Islamic Banking Division branch in Rawalpindi. The Branch Manager will oversee branch operations, administration, business development, customer service, compliance, and staff management. This role is key to driving growth, ensuring smooth operations, and maintaining strong customer relationships.
Job Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of banking experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Education: Preferably Master’s degree in Economics, Commerce, Business Management, or Marketing from an HEC-recognized institution or foreign university.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Strong awareness of regulatory and bank policies.
- Good understanding of Islamic financial principles and Shariah law.
- In-depth knowledge of banking products and services.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
- Ability to handle databases and generate reports.
- Proactive approach with problem-solving mindset.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement branch business plans and strategies in line with regional goals.
- Monitor performance against branch targets and take corrective actions to ensure success.
- Drive deposit growth with a strong focus on current accounts and total deposits.
- Conduct market research, identify new clients, and expand the branch’s customer base.
- Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers by providing superior service.
- Manage and motivate staff, ensuring a productive and customer-focused team.
- Oversee account openings, documentation, and compliance with SOPs, AML, and CFT regulations.
- Review and approve account opening forms, ensuring proper due diligence and KYC compliance.
- Monitor expenses to control costs and maximize branch profitability.
- Handle customer queries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring timely resolution.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory guidelines, and Shariah principles.
- Coordinate HR-related matters including staff training, motivation, and workload management.
- Support business growth through cross-selling of products including advances, trade, consumer, and Banca services.
- Ensure proper implementation of governance, AML/CDD frameworks, and audit recommendations.
